Your family's privacy
You trust us with information about your children — we take that seriously. Here's exactly what we collect, why, where it lives, and what we'll never do with it, written in plain English.

The short version
- We collect only what we need to respond to you, schedule sessions, provide services, and handle billing.
- We never sell your information, never share it for advertising, and run no ad or analytics trackers on this site.
- Card numbers never touch our systems — payments are handled entirely by Stripe.
- Your child's online activity space (the OT Room) is labeled with initials only, never a full name.

What we collect, and when
- Contact form (homepage): your name, email, state, what you're interested in, and your message. Please keep medical or health details out of this form — it's for general questions, and those details belong in your private call with Danielle.
- New-client intake form: parent/guardian contact details, your child's name and date of birth, what services you're interested in, and a short note about what brings you here. This goes directly to the clinic's own email, and a minimal record (parent name and email, child's name) appears in Danielle's private dashboard so she can set up your family.
- Family portal account: your email address and a password you choose. New accounts stay locked until Danielle personally verifies and approves them.
- Your child's OT Room: stickers placed, drawings made, and feelings check-ins from sessions. The room is stored under an initials-only label (e.g. "ERod"), never your child's full name.
- Invoices: a description, amount, and paid/due status. Payment itself happens on Stripe's secure checkout — we never see or store card numbers.

How we use it
Only to run the practice: responding to your messages, scheduling and delivering sessions, sharing resources with your family, sending invoices, and meeting our legal and professional obligations. That's the whole list. We don't sell data, rent it, trade it, or use it for advertising — and we never will.

Where your information lives
Like most modern practices, we rely on a small set of established service providers to operate:
- Google Workspace & Firebase — clinic email, calendar, and the secure database behind the portal and OT Rooms.
- Stripe — payment processing. Card details go only to Stripe.
- Netlify — website hosting.
- Cloudflare — network security and performance. Like any website infrastructure, it processes visitor IP addresses in standard server logs.
- Formspree — delivers homepage contact-form messages to our email. This is why we ask you not to include health details in that form.
These providers process data on our behalf to deliver their service — they don't get to use your information for their own purposes.

Children's privacy
All information about children comes to us from you, the parent or guardian — the site never collects information directly from children, and no part of it asks a child to sign up for anything. The OT Room your child uses in sessions is reachable only through a private link, is labeled with initials only, and contains nothing but their session activities (stickers, drawings, feelings check-ins).

Health information
For occupational therapy clients, clinical records — evaluations, session notes, plans of care — are maintained separately from this website, in accordance with applicable health-privacy laws and Danielle's professional and licensing obligations. This website is not the clinical record; it holds only the practical pieces needed to schedule, communicate, and bill.

Retention & your choices
- Intake requests are deleted from the dashboard once Danielle sets up your family (or dismisses the request).
- Portal accounts, OT Rooms, and their contents are removed when services end or whenever you ask.
- You can request a copy of the information we hold about your family, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it at any time — email [email protected]. We may need to retain some records where the law or professional obligations require it.

Cookies & tracking
No advertising cookies, no analytics trackers, no social-media pixels. The only browser storage this site uses is the essential sign-in state that keeps you logged into the family portal, plus a security cookie Cloudflare may set to protect the site from bots.
